frozen vs fresh veggies

its always occur in my mind, "which one is healthier, frozen or fresh veggies??"
so, i googled it and i found the answer..
and the answer so interesting..

many people might think that of course fresh veggies is healthier, coz its not went to any process b4 we consume.. and its really really fresh. in the other hand, the frozen veggies is went through the process that we dont even know.


but, wht i found from this site, called British Frozen Food Federation the fresh veggies is not too healthy.
its because the fresh veggies "t
ravel so far to reach the high street that they lose many of their vitamins and minerals." Moreover, "Frozen vegetables, in contrast, are often processed within hours of being picked, preserving their nutritional content."
Thus, I think frozen veggies is healthier.

But i am also think that it might be depends who will be cook (use the veggies).
if the one who cook is like, housewife or chef, it is better use fresh veggies, because they always cook everyday so the will use straight away the veggies. it means, after they bought the veggies, it just stay in fridge maybe for 3 days.
if the one who cook is like me, a student, or full-time/part-time worker who most of the time eating outside, it is better use the frozen veggies. it is because frozen veggies might not be spoil if it keeps long time in fridge (can be keep more than one month).

I do use frozen veggies.
because i can keep it for long time.
besides that, because i do not need to cut any of the veggies before i cook.
lol.. i just need to put i in microwave for 2min and then stir it to my cook. hehehe..
so easy and practical..

today is not really special anymore for me and my bf..
its bcoz we always been together..
so, nothin special..hehehe.
but, he said today i can be QUEEN..hahaha..
so he will serve me anything i want.. WOOHOO..!



he cooked my lunch today and tonite he will cook my dinner..
lunch not too bad but it was too salty..hhahaa..
i appreciate it,,,lol.. hope the dinner will be better..

tonite we will watch movie - he is not just into you..
hope its gud one..


now just resting and chatting wit my sister..
miss home suddenly..huh..

quiet time


So quiet now..
last week, from 5th to 11th of feb my friend was here wit her sister.
but, shes going back now..so quiet now..

Usually i woke up in the morning and took them to city or some nice place, eat lotz of fatty food and took many pic of us and them..

Our schedule last week:
Thursday: went to city, had lunch in Grill, chocolate at Koko Black, and looking around Bourke street, then went to st. Kilda night market.

Friday:
went to city, victoria market, should be going to Luna Park but closed so went to st Kilda Beach, Lygoon sreet (ice-cream gelati), went to state library going home had dinner Kanguroo's meat (i cooked) wit salad and potato baked, singstar, and went to pancake panlour. (BONI STAY OVER)

Saturday (HOT DAY up to 47'c): went to Dandenong Market, Chadstone (ngadem), Crown (had cake in Greco and went to casino), looking around city, dinner at sofia.

Sunday: I had work in Glenwaverly, so Dita and her sister,Ria, went to Ballarat (wildlife and sovergnhill) with tour the whole day.



Monday: Peninsula..!! (Lunch at sorentto, arthur seat, sunny ripe, and dinner at Sofia Frankston). with MOniK

Tuesday: Looking around city--> vic.mart, city, botanical garden. lunch at kimchitray and dinner at menya ramen. went to coles at night. hehehe..

now i just doing my lazziness like usual and need to diet now..!!

i cut my hair today and took some passport pic..
its cheap..!! the price for cutting hair juz $17 and the price for the photos juz $12 for 8 photos.
bargain..!! its becoz i went to Springvale..hehehe..

risoles..yummy~~

yeapp..i made it today..
its not hard.. but,so many things that I need to prepare.
i have averything besides carrot, peas, milk and chicken breast.
so, i went to market this afternoon and made the risoles straight away.
*thanks to edwin who drove me to safeway*

first to prepare the inside of risoles, i chop.. chop.. chop.. the garlic and onion..



then boiled the chicken and cut it into diced..


then, chop..chop..chopp.. the carrot into diced then boiled it til soft..and also prepare the peas..



then for the skin..
i put some flour, milk, 2 eggs, salt, the water from chicken and carrot, and also some sugar.
just mix it til soft and not thick.
if still thick juz put some water..hehe.. it should be ok..



after all prepared, begin to cook the inside of risoles..
using a pan, fried the onion and garlic with 2 table spoon of margarine until the colour is brown..
put also some salt, paper, and nutmeg. Nutmeg is very important coz it can make the taste very nice and a bit spicy. hehehe...



after that, I put flour and milk.
mix them until they combined well and put the chicken also peas and carrot.
mix them for about 3 min and put some salt, paper, another nutmeg, and also the water from chicken and carrot.
I also put some chicken stock so the taste is so good.



to make the skin,
just fried the flour mix into the pan until its cook.



to make the risoles.
take some of the inside about one tablespooon and fold the skin to be a square.
its quite hard, but should be ok.



after that, the last step is put the risoles to the eggs and breadcrumbs before it fried.
then, juz fried it until the skin a bit brown.

but I love it,, so yummm...
